PROJECX WATERBOYS WIN 2018 HEINEKEN KINSALE 7s
Projecx Waterboys from Scotland were crowned 2018 Heineken Kinsale 7s Champions for the second year in a row, defeating Speranza22 by 36-12. Railway Union won the Hayes Caravan Services Women’s Trophy beating WRR Ravens 22-7 and King Prawns won the Men’s Open competition, beating Session Motts 36-0.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Heineken Kinsale 7s is Ireland’s largest rugby 7s tournament and builds on its success each year. Over 60 teams and supporters enjoyed great running rugby and the huge festival atmosphere in Kinsale RFC and in the town over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
